Education

Joint PG Program with Internship Opportunities

  • A DJI PG Scholarships will be set up to support full-time postgraduate students. In order to receive the scholarship, a student should pass a joint screen process by both HKUST and DJI, and satisfy all HKUST admission requirements. An awardee must be supervised by a HDJI Lab faculty member. The scholarship can be used to support PG students in any academic year.

  • DJI may offer a student within the Joint PG program to participate in a 6-12 months paid internship program in DJI. During the internship, students will identify research topics and thesis topic jointly with their faculty advisors and their DJI mentors.

ROBOMASTERS Competition Support

  • DJI initiated RoboMasters in 2015 as an educational robotics competition for students around the globe. It has become the world's biggest, most complex, and completely over-the-top student robotics competition.

  • As an important component of the joint education program, DJI will support undergraduate student team from HKUST to compete in ROBOMASTERS.  This team is a collaborative group of engineering students with backgrounds ranging from mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, to computer science and math. Together they have designed, built, and tested seven robots from scratch.
